👅 The experience
Mouth Tokens (MT) are fully realized when held in your mouth. They are small enough to be rolled around on the tongue, to be felt out properly. You, the collector, possess the token and it possesses you. You are the Gashapon capsule and the token is the toy. You are its universe, where it ends, when it's inside of you.
💬 Form in Language
Although "MT" is an abbreviation of Mouth Token, when spoken it sounds like "empty"
In the etymological root of the word, "token," is the very act that I originally imagined— opening the mouth and actually showing it to someone. To pronounce it solemnly, as a non-verbal expression of the mouth. The mouth here is a site of exhibition, or a space for showing.
